Security Industry Association Unveils Program for First ESG Week

SILVER SPRING, Md.— The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the schedule, speaker lineup and program for the first-ever ESG Week Virtual Symposium, scheduled for Sept. 9-11.

This free event is co-presented by the SIA Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisory Board and Built Environment Advisory Board and will feature “dynamic sessions on key topics in sustainability, environment, social and governance,” according to the association announcement.

Sessions for this event will run Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Thursday, Sept. 11, from 12–2 p.m. EDT each day. Topics covered will include:

  • Practical governance strategies for small and medium-sized businesses in security tech
  • Operationalizing artificial intelligence in your health and safety programs
  • Embedding ESG into modern security strategies
  • Aligning purpose with performance to deliver client value in sustainability strategy
  • ESG as a strategic enabler
  • Leveraging physical security solutions to make organizations more sustainable
