LVT Launches ACCESS Taskforce in Detroit with Retailers, State and Local Officials

DETROIT — Customizable mobile security solutions provider LiveView Technologies, Inc. (LVT) today announced the activation of the Alliance of Companies and Communities to Enhance Safety and Security (ACCESS) Taskforce in Detroit. Pye-Barker Acquires Protect Alarms

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Full-service fire protection, life safety and security services provider Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Allentown, Pa.-based security systems, fire detection, alarms and monitoring specialist Protect Alarms Security Systems, expanding its reach across eastern Pennsylvania. Pye-Barker “has continued to invest in the Northeast” and “offers full fire code compliance and complete life safety services to commercial customers in eastern Pennsylvania,” according to a joint announcement. Protect Alarms, a family-run operation since its founding by Albert Taylor Jr. in 1963, provides customized systems to businesses and residents throughout the Lehigh Valley region. SIA: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your career path that has brought you to Pro-Tec Design. Ryan Knoll: I grew up surrounded by a family dedicated to public safety. My early years were filled with various sports, leading to a strong competitive drive and a love of being part of a team. This blend of public safety influence and fundamentals learned in athletics guided me toward a career in law enforcement. From a young age, I can’t remember wanting to be anything other than a police officer, helping others and chasing bad guys.
