Security Sales & Integration’s National Security Technician Day Q&A series celebrates the men and women who have shaped the security industry through their on-the-job excellence that often goes unnoticed, but without which the installations — both big and small — wouldn’t work.

These unsung heroes of the security industry are recognized annually by the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent with the Security Technician of the Year Awards and on Jan. 23 for National Security Technician Day, but we’ve made it a point to honor them throughout the year.

We’ve asked our subjects how they got into the security industry, which installation they’ve done was the most memorable and what they love most about the work they do.
