LOUIS – Fire safety and security-focused buy-and-build consortium RapidFire Safety & Security has added John Mackey, founder and CEO of The Mackey Group, to its board of directors, according to an announcement. RapidFire was started founders Mike McLeod and Colin Harrold in partnership with private equity firm Concentric Equity Partners. The Mackey Group specializes in mergers and acquisitions strategies, growth strategy development, and new technology implementation, according to the announcement. Quantum Teams With Tiger Surveillance for Better Long-Term Video Data Retention

Video and unstructured data company Quantum Corporation is partnering with video surveillance data management platform Tiger Surveillance to “ deliver end-to-end solutions for long -term retention and archiving of video surveillance data,” according to the joint announcement . TORONTO — Threat detection and security solution company Xtract One Technologies announced today the appointment of two new hires: Joshua Douglas and Christopher Feusner, as the company’s new senior vice president of product & engineering and vice president of sales, respectively. Xtract One “prioritizes the patron access experience by leveraging AI,” the company announcement says. Douglas is “a recognized expert in the fields of behavioral analytics, cybersecurity, and physical security,” according to the Xtract One announcements. He joins from Mimecast, where he served as senior VP of product management and adds product management and engineering leadership expertise to Xtract One. Prior to Xtract One, Douglas has also held leadership positions at Raytheon, Forcepoint, and TRC Companies.
