AMAG Technology Names Roland Fournier VP of Product Management

HAWTHORNE, Calif. — AMAG Technology, an Allied Universal Company, has hired Roland Fournier as vice president, product management.

In his new role, Fournier “will serve as the lead product officer of AMAG Technology and is responsible for the vision, development and strategy of all Symmetry products,” according to the company announcement.

Fournier “will oversee the design and manufacturing planning of the AMAG product portfolio, defining our product direction in line with our strategic goals,” the company announcement says. “In leading our product team, Roland will ensure that AMAG’s products are leading-edge and competitively positioned, enhancing our already strong product portfolio.”

“I am excited to bring Fournier onboard as the VP of Product Management to lead us forward into our next generation of products,” said AMAG Technology President David Sullivan in the company announcement. “His experience will help us achieve our vision to change the profile of access control.

“His role will revive our development, improve our strategy and help coordinate communication across key departments to ensure the success of our Symmetry portfolio of products,” he said.

Why AMAG Technology Hired Roland Fournier

Fournier is responsible for AMAG’s Symmetry product road map.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining the AMAG team, and I look forward to working with leadership and the product management team to help transform the Symmetry product portfolio to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our customers,” said Fournier in the company announcement.

Before joining AMAG, Fournier was the senior director of product and solutions at HID Global, where he managed a team of product managers and marketers responsible for over 100 products. Before HID Global, he spent 14 years at IDEMIA in senior product management roles.

AMAG Technology has been busy in recent weeks adding to its management team. The company hired Pascal De Zitter as VP of Security and Information Management Solutions earlier this month and named Ann Marie Mansfield as director of commercial experience in June.
