During the past few decades, I have been to every conceivable U.S.-based security trade show, conference and gathering — everything from national expos and regional association meetings to thought leadership conferences and vendor-sponsored summits to media junkets and beyond. LAS VEGAS — ISC West 2025 is scheduled for March 31 through April 4 at the Venetian Expo. The show is making news by adding a fourth day of classroom opportunities and boosting its focus on cybersecurity. Last year’s show attracted almost 30,000 security industry professionals, ranging from exhibitors and attendees to speakers and media. “We really speak to the full gamut of the security industry,” says Mary Beth Shaughnessy, the event vice president for ISC West, noting the event brings together end users, practitioners, consultants, integrators, dealers, installers, technicians and more under one roof. “There is something for everyone.” ISC West is always looking to enhance its offerings. Baseball Hall of Famer John Smoltz Headlines ESX 2025 General Session

ATLANTA – Baseball Hall of Famer and Atlanta Braves legend John Smoltz will be the guest speaker at the 2025 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) 2025 general session, scheduled for June 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre, the penultimate day of the event that’s set to run from June 16-19. ESX is known as t he “RMR Educational Event of the Year,” designed specifically by and for electronic security and life safety integrators and dealers. Smoltz, an eight-time All-Star and Cy Young Award winner who spent most of his career with the Atlanta Braves, earned first-ballot admission into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.
