ESA Announces Kyle Scheele as ESX 2025 Keynote Speaker June 17 in Atlanta

DALLAS – Public speaker Kyle Scheele, who is renowned for his ability to “catalyze creativity with humor, heart, and…even crazy ideas,” will deliver the keynote speech at the Electronic Security Expo 2025, according to an announcement from the Electronic Security Association ( ESA ). Campbell Police Department Secures Waiver for 24/7 Drone as First Responder Operations

CAMPBELL, Calif. — The Campbell Police Department recently received a waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations as part of its Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program. Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs “are changing how emergencies are handled by providing real-time situational awareness that improves response times and safety,” according to the Dedrone announcement. With DFR, police can deploy drones as soon as 911 calls are received, giving them a clear picture of the situation before officers arrive.
