MISSISSAUGA, Canada—Camden Door Controls has just introduced a new addition to its CX-91 and CX-92 Series maglocks—the company now offers models that feature a sleek, aesthetically pleasing black finish. According to the Canadian manufacturer, black finishes on hardware are gaining popularity, and the new Camden Door Controls new ‘all-black’ design is designed to be distinctive in the access control market. The company explains the new black models offer the same level of performance and value as the other CX-91 and CX-92 Series magnetic locks and are easily installed with a convenient metal mounting template that’s included with the unit. AFTON, Iowa — East Union Community School District has chosen artificial intelligence-based gun detection video analytics platform ZeroEyes to protect students and faculty against gun-related threats. Gun-related violence in the U.S. is on the rise, with the Gun Violence Archive reporting 1,121 shooting incidents on school property in 2023.
